In the Dream House, based on the novel by Carmen Maria Machado, tells the story of a queer relationship that seems perfect, but behind closed doors, the reality is revealed.

I directed, produced, wrote, and edited this film! My first short film I’ve ever spearheaded, I wanted to highlight the invisible struggles that many face in the world, not just those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Queer stories are so important to tell! Art speaks to people in ways words cannot. I wanted to give light to this issue and show the difficulty that comes with loving a destructive person. Representation truly matters. I will continue to tell the stories that are typically untold.
